The development of Islamic economics and finance in practice and the fact that it has gained an important place in the world economy, the fact that Turkey considers Islamic economics and finance as a strategic field, the increase in the number of state participation banks and participation finance institutions planned to be opened in Turkey, and the need for trained human resources in this field are clearly evident.
The aim of this department is to provide intellectual accumulation in the field of Islamic economics and finance, to develop existing participation finance practices with the education received, and to contribute to the human resources needed by the markets and economic policy makers. Students who graduate from the department have a wide range of employment opportunities in both private and public institutions.
